For about ten years, the main clock in our downstairs dining room has not worked. Normally, this wouldn’t be cause for too much alarm, but it is for us. This clock has literally been with us since we started, dating all the way back to 1930.
As you look through photographs over the years, it’s clear that this clock as much of a constant around here as our wooden furniture.
It stopped working about ten years ago. A year or two later, we hired someone to fix the clock, which he did. The clock runs just fine, with one big problem. It runs about 4 minutes fast every 24 hours. We’ve had people look at this several times, to no avail. So now we’re asking you guys, our loyal customers/blog readers, for your input. Please inform us of any suggesttions/links you might have by visiting our Facebook or Google + pages, or Tweet us. If you have any specific questions about the clock itself, we’ll be happy to give you any informaiton that you may need.
